Telangana: CM KCR, Congress' Revanth Reddy Both Trailing Behind BJP Candidate In Kamareddy Seat As Per Latest ECI Trends

In a major surprise, BJP candidate from Kamareddy constituency is leading Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao by over 3,500 votes, with Congress' Revanth Reddy trailing at third place.

With over 50,294 votes, BJP's Katipally Venkata Ramana Reddy is leading KCR by over 3,500 votes and Revanth Reddy by 4,875 votes at the end of 15th round of counting. There are four more rounds of counting before the results will be clear.

Meanwhile, Dhanpal Suryanarayana, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Telangana's Nizamabad urban seat, is leading Congress' Mohammed Ali Shabbir by over 15,000 votes.

Suryanarayana secured 75,240 votes while Shabbir got 59,853 votes.


Interestingly, BRS candidate from the seat, Ganesh Bigala, is trailing Suryanarayana by over 30,000 votes.

In 2018 elections, Bigala had won the seat by defeating Congress candidate Taher Bin Hamdan by over 25,000 votes.

Ganesh had secured 71,896 votes in 2018 while the runner up candidate from Congress got 46,055 votes.
