Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi quoted a post by India Today journalist Shiv Aroor on X and took a jibe at the opposition regarding Congress losses in the recently held assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Cautioning the voters about "their (opposition's) divisive agenda", which is "an old habit of 70 years" and "cannot go away so easily", Modi applauded the electorate saying, "Such is the wisdom of the people that they have to be prepared for many more meltdowns ahead."
The caption of Aroor's post was "Meltdown-e-Azam" where he highlighted the excuses being given by Congress supporters about the losses.
Responding to this, the PM said, "May they be happy with their arrogance, lies, pessimism and ignorance."
