Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday (13 September) informed about an all-party meeting ahead of the parliament session.

"An all-party floor leaders meeting has been convened on the 17th at 4:30 PM. The invitation for the same has been sent to concerned leaders through email. Letters to follow," Joshi posted on X.

The all-party meeting is expected to address the special session's agenda. According to NDTV sources, the special session will commence in the old Parliament building and transition to the new building on 19 September.

A special session of Parliament was announced by Joshi earlier this month. It is scheduled for 18-22 September. However, its agenda is still unknown.

However, rumours erupted earlier this month that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Central government is likely to bring a resolution to rename India as Bharat in the upcoming special session of the Parliament.
