Delegation of MPs led by BJP national president JP Nadda

All Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament (MPs) who contested and emerged victorious in the State Assembly Elections submitted their resignations on Wednesday (6 December).

ANI reported that a total of 10 MPs have tendered their resignations, while two other MPs, Baba Balaknath and Renuka Singh, were absent from the submission process.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, and Rajya Sabha Chairman, BJP President JP Nadda led the delegation comprising these MPs.

Additionally, BJP leaders Prahlad Singh Patel and Narendra Singh Tomar, both of whom contested in the Assembly elections, are set to resign from the Union Council of Ministers today. They will formally submit their resignations to the Prime Minister.

Since BJP has yet not announced its Chief Ministers for Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, the resignation from MP post further heats the political space as these leaders will now be considered for the CM post.
