Thirumavalavan (Twitter)
A video clip of a speech by Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) MP Thol Thirumavalavan from Chidambaram, asking for 100 per cent voting by Muslims and Christians is going viral on social media.
Thirumavalavan stated that he was requesting that there should be 100 per cent voting by Muslims and Christians because the 2024 election was dangerous.
He said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government were to regain power, the state and its people would be in danger. He claimed that the government would abolish the current system and make Sanatana Dharma, Varnasrama Dharma, and Manu Dharma the new governing system.
He further added that the opportunity for elections would not arise again after 2024. "All Muslims and Christians, including those residing outside the state or country, to return and vote in order to remove Modi from power", he said.
He emphasized that nobody should stay at home and that everyone should participate in the elections to ensure that the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) alliance secures all 40 seats.
