The BJP-JJP split in Haryana did not come as a surprise to political watchers, and similarly, the news of a cabinet reshuffle in the state was not a shocker.
Especially after the Gujarat cabinet reshuffle and the new chief minister's announcement in MP, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, everyone is open to all possibilities regarding the kind of decisions the BJP can take, while others are second-guessing their next move.
However, the BJP-JJP alliance has been on tenterhooks for a while, and Manohar Lal Khattar, despite his best efforts last year, has not been winning any popularity contests.
Here's why:
There have been allegations of policy paralysis within the government.
Inadequate infrastructure development, especially in roadways, despite promises.
