Dear Reader,
Today is September 1.
And on this day, in 1942, the seeds of the Indian National Army were sown by Captain Mohan Singh. Which was then nurtured by Rash Behari Bose and later revived by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
By forging alliances, inspiring nationalist fervor, and engaging in military campaigns, the INA challenged the British Empire and ignited a new sense of unity and purpose in the struggle for India's freedom.
To mark this day and pay tribute to the courage and valour of our unsung heroes and soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj, we bring to you in this newsletter a special INA-themed curation of โ 1 Quiz + 2 Podcasts + 3 T-shirts.
These words still give us goosebumps. They are not just mere words; they have the power to fill us with courage, to unite us all against the foreign enemy, and to fight them with our heads held high.
But how well do we know our heroes who took this armed route and gave their lives for India's freedom?
