Why Modi-Shah Duo Get Away With 'High Command Culture'

You have probably never heard of Vishnudeo Sai, Mohan Yadav and Bhajan Lal Sharma. Until last week that is.

These gentlemen have now been nominated to be the Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively. And yet no analyst could figure out that these gentlemen would be nominated.

How is it that Modi and Amit Shah seem to do stuff so completely out of the blue? Why does their party even accept such high handedness? Where do they draw the political capital to get away with such radical decisions? Do they even have a plan?
