Battle of Walong
This brave stand of the Kumaon Regiment against the Chinese attack in Arunachal Pradesh's Kameng Division is an example of resilience and courage.
Intense Conflict: The 6th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment faced heavy assaults in one of the fiercest battles of the Sino-Indian War of 1962.
Gallantry Awards: Five Vir Chakras were awarded to individuals from 6 Kumaon for their bravery.
Stalwart Defense: The Indian soldiers, significantly outnumbered, showed tenacity and repelled multiple Chinese assaults.
Heavy Casualties: Only 17 Indian soldiers from the Delta Company of 6 Kumaon returned from the battle, while the Chinese side suffered approximately five times more casualties.
Battle of Rezang La
The heroic last stand made by the 13th Battalion of the Kumaon Regiment during the Sino-Indian War of 1962 is a story of unmatched bravery. The Rezang La timepiece will stand as a testament to this valiant feat.

Battle of Basantar
This key battle during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 in the western sector of India saw some of the fiercest combat. The Basantar watch symbolizes the courage and fortitude shown by the Indian Army during this crucial battle.
Major Battle: It was a significant battle during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 involving the 54th Infantry Division of the Indian Army.
Param Vir Chakra: Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal of 17th Poona Horse was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his valor.
Strategic Victory: The Indian Army successfully prevented Pakistani forces from entering Indian territory, resulting in a strategic victory.
