Office bearers of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra today met the Prime Minister at his official residence
It's finally official. 22 January, 2024 is when the idol of Rama Lalla at the Shri Rama Janmabhoomi temple will be consecrated. The consecration will be done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Office bearers of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra today met the Prime Minister at his official residence in New Delhi and extended a formal invitation for the ceremony. This included, trustees of the Kshetra's trust, Swami Vishwaprasanna Teertha ji Maharaj of the Pejawar Mutt, and Swami Govind Dev Giri ji Maharaj along with Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee Nripendra Mishra and General Secretary of the Kshetra, Champat Rai of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
PM Modi too shared on his X (formerly Twitter) handle: "Jai Siya Ram! Today is a day full of emotions. Today the officials of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust had come to meet me at my residence. They have invited me to come to Ayodhya on the occasion of consecration of Shri Ram temple. I feel blessed. It is my good fortune that in my lifetime, I will witness this historic occasion."
The Kshetra also shared that Sarsanghchalak of RSS Dr Mohan Bhagwat and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath will be present on the occasion too. Apart from this, around 4,000 saints and 2,500 eminent citizens would be present too.
