97 Per Cent Of Trinamool Congress' 'Earnings' In FY23 Came From Electoral Bonds, Here Are The Numbers For BJP And Congress

It is the Mamata Banerjee-led All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) which registered the highest proportion of electoral bond receipts as part of its overall income for FY22-23.

The most recent data of party audits available on the Election Commission of India website is for FY23.


Of this, receipts from the electoral bonds constituted 97.49 per cent, with the amount received through the same being Rs 3,25,10,00,000.


On the other hand, among all political parties, while the BJP disclosed highest income at Rs 23,60,84,46,398 for FY22-23, electoral bonds constitute 54.81 per cent of its earnings at Rs 12,94,14,99,000.


Apart from this, the second biggest party in Lok Sabha, Indian National Congress (INC), had reported an income of Rs 4,52,37,57,255 of which receipts from electoral bonds stood at Rs 1,71,02,00,000, that is 37.80 per cent of its earnings.
