Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Tuesday (18 April) while speaking at an event, stated that the traditions of the entire world find themselves at home in India and feel safe here. He also added that India is going to be a Vishwaguru and a future superpower.

Speaking at an event on the Jayanti of Adya Jagatguru Ramanandacharya in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, Bhagwat said that only the Sanatan Dharma works towards bringing everyone together and aspires for the well-being of all.

“Only Sanatan Dharma says that the whole world is one. Sanatan traditions work towards unifying everyone. This is why religions from all over the world find their home here. Sanatan aspires for the welfare of all,” he said at the event.

“Today, not just us but the whole world is saying that is the superpower of the future. But we should take care. Strength is necessary, but our strength should not harm others, but protect the weak. And our progress should keep in mind that it also means progress for others,” he said further.

“We must show the right path to the people peacefully. Those who have left must be brought back. Those who are at home, and are angry or disappointed with us, must be accepted as one of us and unified,” he went on to add.

Before the event, Bhagwat also unveiled the statue of Swami Shyamdevacharya at the Narsimha Temple at Jabalpur.

“Live your life according to the Sanatan Dharma. It is possible only when we follow the teachings of saints like Shyamdevacharya and walk on the path of religion,” he said at the statue unveiling ceremony.

He also attacked missionaries and religious conversions. “Missionaries take advantage of people who feel the society is not with them. We don’t see our own people, don’t go and talk to them. But a missionary from thousands of miles away comes and lives there, eats their food, and then converts them,” he said.
