In the aftermath of Ajit Pawar-led rebellion, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar asserted that, if his party, Congress and Shiv Sena come together, change will be imminent.

It is his first reaction since his nephew split the NCP to lead the breakaway faction to join the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena-Bhartiya Janata party (BJP) alliance and become Deputy Chief Minister in the Maharashtra state government.

Recently, while addressing a gathering at book launch at V K Rajwade research foundation Sharad Pawar said, "Currently it is difficult to interact with the state government, I am sure there will be a way out, once the dispute is resolved, then it will be binding on the government to assist the foundation in its research work."

Sharad Pawar also revealed that Thackrey during his tenure as chief minister made a huge donation from the CM relief fund to the Mumbai Marathi Granth Sangrahalay headed by him.
