Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (18 September) credited the success of G20 Summit to the entire nation, saying that it was not the success of one person or a political party alone.

"The success of the G20 is the success of 140 crore Indians. It is the success of India, not of a person, not of a party. India's federal structure, and its diversity conducted over 200 summits in past sixty years," PM Modi said while addressing the last sitting in the old Parliament building on the first day of the special session.

He further said that before the summit everyone was saying that coming to a consensus for a declaration would be impossible, there wouldn't be any declaration.

He said that around the world, people are praising the achievements of India.

"It is a result of the 75 years of Parliament," he added.

Speaking on Chandrayaan-3, he said, "The success of Chandrayaan 3 showcases a new side of India's ability which is related to innovation, technology, science and the capabilities of our scientists"
