After Failing To Condemn Hamas, Congress Takes Anti-Israel Stand As Priyanka Gandhi Labels Action Against Terrorists In Gaza 'Genocide'

Indian National Congress (INC) which has till now failed to criticise the terrorist activities of Hamas against Israel has now taken a stringent anti-Isarel stand.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, a Congress leader, expressed her strong disapproval and condemnation of the killing of more than 10,000 individuals in Gaza, describing it as both deplorable and disgraceful as reported by Hindustan Times.

She further criticised the governments that are endorsing and enabling this destructive situation, stating that it is a shameful act.

The general secretary of Congress said that those who support this "genocide" have yet to be shaken by any moral outrage.

Gandhi expressed her opinion on X by stating, "What a deplorable and disgraceful milestone…over 10,000 people killed in Gaza of which almost half are children. One child is being killed every ten minutes according to the WHO, and now tiny babies had to be removed from their incubators due to lack of oxygen and were left to die."

She further added, "Still, no shock to the conscience of those supporting this genocide, no ceasefire…just more bombs, more violence, more killings and more suffering,"

She then inquired, "When will it be sufficient?"

Over 1,200 Israelis, mostly civilians, were tragically killed in a surprise attack by Hamas fighters on Israeli border communities.

Reports indicate that around 240 individuals, including children and the elderly, are still being held captive in Gaza, according to Israeli officials.

According to the health ministry in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas, the Israeli offensive aimed at "destroying" Hamas has resulted in the deaths of more than 11,000 individuals. Reports indicate that among the casualties, there are believed to be thousands of women and children.
