The video is viral and it is heartbreaking.

A youth from the SC community stood humiliated before a man who exudes arrogance and anger.

The torrent of verbal abuse from that man has all the profanities that existed, exist, and will exist in Tamil. The man continues abusing the boy as a large number of people around him watch in silence.

This is about temple entry. 'How dare you enter our temples? We have contributed to the temple. It is ours. Because you people try to enter, people are not ready to come here'.

The caste abuse is Asuric. The silence of the youth is—make no mistake—the silence before a massive volcano erupts.

And no, this is not the failure of Dravidian model. This is the Dravidian model.

Enjoy the abusive, arrogant power of being a dominant, feudal community. Exploit the marginalised and the vulnerable. Spew hatred. Threaten with violence. But ultimately put the blame on Brahmins.

Put the blame on Manu Smriti whose copy even none has seen. Blame it all on that elusive ghost on which all the burdens of social evils could be thrown on—blame the Brahmin.

Commit violence against the 'lower castes'. Blame the Brahmin again. That is the Dravidian model.

When social media exposes the ugly face of Dravidian model—blame the Brahmins.

Amidst all, the politically-aware Hindus of the state should remember one thing. Ultimately, we have to answer for these inhuman Dravidianist transgressions.

We, the Dharmics, have to take the mantle of real social justice. As I said before, I shall say now. Dharmacharyas should step in.

And now an outcry will arise. Why do you have to bring in Dharmacharyas here? Are they politicians?

No. They are not politicians. They are Dharmacharyas. I appeal to them because I believe they alone have the Dharmic power and Dharmic responsibility to take on this Asuric abuse of our brothers.

Now is the time to demonstrate to the broken and failed Dravidian model, the power of the Dharmic model to uphold justice and effect healing.

By demonstrating the power of Dharma in securing universal temple entry the Dharmacharyas will also show the Dharmic authority and Dharmic will of the enlightened Hindu society to liberate Hindu temples from the stranglehold of government.

Most of the temples where Dalits are not allowed entry are usually governed by local dominant castes.

The way SC Hindus are not allowed here actually is an argument against liberating Hindu temples from the Government.

So by their proactive intervention of healing and securing justice, the Dharmacharyas will be benefitting the society, both locally and also at large in the long run.
