A discussion on Chief Minister's face is likely to take place in the Delhi meeting after the party's win in the Karnataka assembly polls.
He said he has done his work and now the decision on who will be the next Karnataka Chief Minister has been left to the party high command.
"We have passed a one-line resolution. We will leave it to the party high command. I have not decided to go to Delhi. I have done whatever job I have to do," Shivakumar was quoted by ANI as saying.
The KPCC chief's statement comes as Congress, which registered an impressive victory in the Karnataka Assembly elections, has been facing the challenge of deciding the chief minister.
Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah and state party president D K Shivakumar are reportedly among the frontrunners for the CM post.
"Still haven't decided whether to go or not," Shivakumar told the mediapersons when asked about his visit to Delhi today.
"I have not decided to go to Delhi still. Because a lot of people are coming from across the State and I have small rituals in my house as today is my birthday. There is some Puja and I have to go to some temples," he said, ANI reported.
