Gopal Mandal, an MLA from Janata Dal (United), criticized Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), for suggesting that Rahul Gandhi could be the next Prime Minister. Mandal stated that Yadav has become "crazy" after undergoing a kidney transplant.

Mandal stated, “No one becomes PM just because someone says so. Lalu Prasad Yadav is the messiah of the poor and a senior leader of our people but just because he took Rahul Gandhi's name doesn't mean that he will become PM. He had a kidney transplant and he has gone crazy.”

Mandal stated, "No one becomes PM just because someone says so. Lalu Prasad Yadav is a respected leader and advocate for the poor, but his endorsement of Rahul Gandhi does not automatically make him the PM. It seems his kidney transplant has affected his judgment."

Mandal illustrated Yadav's humorous statement during a press conference, "In the Patna meeting, Lalu asked Rahul Gandhi to get married, and wanted to go on the groom's procession". Mandal added, "When a person becomes aged he gets a little insane."

Mandal expressed his support for JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar. He acknowledged Kumar's hard work in bringing together opposition parties to counter the BJP and Prime Minister Modi.

During a recent event, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi decided to learn cooking from Lalu Yadav, the leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Yadav taught Gandhi how to prepare Champaran mutton, a popular dish in Bihar.

Rahul Gandhi shared a seven-minute video on his YouTube channel, showcasing his cooking session with Lalu Yadav. The video captures Yadav instructing Gandhi on the step-by-step process of preparing the dish.

In a recent statement, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot declared Rahul Gandhi as the Congress party's prime ministerial candidate for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. However, it should be noted that there has been no official confirmation from Congress regarding this matter.
