The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in three of the four states that went to the polls.
BJP is currently above the majority marks in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, with the Congress ahead of the halfway mark in Telangana.
In Rajasthan, BJP is leading on 109 seats while Congress is trailing with leads on 72 seats.
In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading on 157 seats while Congress is trailing with leads on 71 seats.
In Chhattisgarh, BJP is leading on 50 seats while Congress is ahead on 38 seats.
In Telangana, Congress is leading on 66 seats, while ruling BRS is trailing with leads on 37 seats. Meanwhile, BJP is leading on 8 seats in the southern state.
