Priyanka Gandhi Mocks PM Modi For Bringing Up Instances Of Abusive Language Used Against Him, Says He 'Keeps Crying' Like Salman Khan In 'Tere Naam'

Addressing a poll rally in Madhya Pradesh on the final day of campaigning for the 17 November elections, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, remarking that he "keeps crying" and suggesting that a movie titled 'Mere Naam', similar to Salman Khan’s 'Tere Naam', should be made about him.
In her address in the Datia constituency, Priyanka mentioned Modi's tendency to focus on his challenges, bringing up instances where he highlighted abusive language used against him in Karnataka.
Drawing a parallel with Salman Khan's emotional character in 'Tere Naam', she proposed a fictional film titled 'Mere Naam' centred around Modi's perceived emotional demeanour.
Priyanka also expressed sympathy for BJP and RSS workers, claiming that Modi has allowed the inclusion of all the "world’s traitors and cowards" into the party.
Accusing Modi of favouring industrialists, she asserted, "the BJP government is working only for big industrialists. Thousands of crores of rupees belonging to Adani are being waived off, and the country’s properties are being handed over to him."
Additionally, Priyanka remembered her father, former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, at the rally, highlighting his humility in the face of public criticism and citing the tradition of ultimate power and wealth for the people fought for during the freedom struggle.
Promising sops, Priyanka pledged to waive off farm loans and conduct a caste-wise census if the Congress is elected to power.
It's worth noting that Priyanka had received a showcause notice from the Election Commission of India for a similar remark against the Prime Minister earlier.
In that instance, she had questioned Modi's actions regarding the BHEL, accusing him of favouring industrialist friends.
