Telangana: Muslim Organisation Vouches For Congress, Alleges 'Clandestine Cooperation' Between BRS, AIMIM And BJP

Telangana Chief Minister and BRS chief KCR, and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi (R).

In a strongly-worded statement issued on Tuesday (21 November), the Telangana Muslim Organisations Joint Action Committee (TSMOJAC) highlighted what it perceives as a concerning trend of "mutual political understanding" between the Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) and the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) over the past decade.

According to TSMOJAC, the Muslim community in Telangana has been closely observing what it characterises as a "clandestine cooperation" between the BRS and the BJP.

Taking a critical stance against the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), TSMOJAC argued that the party supports the BRS, despite its alleged political alliance with the BJP.

In contrast, the committee pointed to the Congress, highlighting significant commitments made to the Muslim community in its Muslims declaration and manifesto.

TSMOJAC called on the Muslim community to unite and throw its support behind the Congress, stating that the party presents a more favourable option that aligns with the aspirations and demands of the Muslim population in Telangana.

As the elections approach, TSMOJAC aims to mobilise support for the Congress, emphasising what it perceives as a more responsive and committed approach to addressing the concerns of the Muslim community.
