Alleged 'alien corpses' displayed at a public hearing in Mexico's Congress.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) recently published a report on what they refer to as "unidentified anomalous phenomenon" (UAP), commonly known as unidentified flying objects or UFOs.

In response to a recommendation from an independent study team to take a more active role in understanding UFOs, NASA has announced the appointment of a director of UAP research.

During the press conference, NASA officials were asked about the recent UFO hearing in Mexico's Congress, where alleged remains of non-human beings were presented.

David Spergel, the former head of Princeton University's astrophysics department and chair of the UAP report, expressed that he was unaware of the nature of the samples but emphasised the importance of transparency.

Spergel stated, "I only became aware of this through Twitter. When encountering unusual occurrences, it is vital to make the data available to the public."

Regarding the samples presented in the UFO hearing, Spergel admitted, "We currently lack knowledge about the nature of those samples."

The Mexican government was advised to make samples available to the scientific community if they had anything unusual, according to a statement.

During a hearing on Tuesday, journalist and UFO enthusiast Jaime Maussan showcased two small "bodies" enclosed in cases to politicians. These bodies had elongated heads and three fingers on each hand.

During the presentation, it was revealed that the specimens were discovered near Peru's ancient Nazca Lines. Carbon dating conducted by Mexico's National Autonomous University (UNAM) estimated the age of the specimens to be approximately 1,000 years old.

Maussan stated that these specimens did not belong to any known species on Earth.

According to Maussan, there is compelling evidence that the specimens we are dealing with are non-human and not related to any other species on our planet.

He believes that all scientific institutions should have the opportunity to investigate this phenomenon and keep an open mind about the possibilities.

The images of the alleged "alien" bodies presented during the congressional hearing have quickly gained viral attention on various social media platforms.
