The IDF has demolished a pizzeria in the town of Huwara in the northern West Bank. This action was taken in response to an online advertisement by the pizzeria, which included a photo of an elderly Israeli woman who had been taken hostage by Hamas terrorists into Gaza.

Upon learning about the advertisement, settlers gathered around the shop and demanded its demolition.

The IDF arrived at the scene and ultimately decided to shut down the pizzeria.

Using a bulldozer, the IDF razed the front of the shop and it will be subsequently sealed by the Israeli army.

Central Command head Yehuda Fox signed a military order directing the pizzeria be closed for five months due to its incitement and support for terror activities.

According to reports from local Israeli media, the owner of the pizzeria has also been detained in connection with these events.

Meanwhile, the pizzeria took to their Facebook page to issue an apology, stating that the offensive ad had been published by someone else without their knowledge. They believe that this was done intentionally to harm their business.

“We are against harming men and women and just want to earn a living with dignity and live in peace with everyone. We are very sorry to the members of our family and others who were hurt," it said, reports Times of Israel.
