The Swarajya Fact Checking initiative encompasses minds from different fields in order to ensure that the credibility of the facts represented, corrected, or checked on the portal is not constrained by the lack of understanding of any issue.

With over 8 years of experience in the field of journalism, Dushyanthi heads the editorial operations of the Swarajya Fact Checking initiative as the Executive Editor. Previously serving as a senior editor at Swarajya, Dushyanthi now leads the editorial team, aiding them in their pursuit with her expertise.

Given how religion is integral to any public policy or political discourse in India, and how leaders look to cash in on religious sentiments during any election, Shravan aids the fact checking team with his elaborate insights and experience.

With over a decade of experience in digital journalism, Ravi MGR heads the data analytics team that studies the narrative and discourse around any significant election or event of state or national importance. Heading a group of interns working for the fact checking initiative alone, Ravi brings to the table an impeccable understanding of narratives based on incomplete or untrue facts and aids the editorial team wherever necessary.

S Nidhi has spent over 12 years in the professional industry, serving multiple roles, her recent experience being in social media. With over 300 social media users in India, the fact checking initiative ensures that they are up to date with the trends online, especially during elections, and this is where S Nidhi comes into play. Tracking the origins of information on social media, she helps the editorial team with relevant attributions.
