Coronavirus In India: Record 11,458 New Cases Raise Covid-19 Tally To Over 3.08 Lakh; Here's The Latest State-Wise Breakup

The number of new Coronavirus cases in India recorded the highest single-day spike of 11,458, taking the total case count in the country to 3,08,993, the Union Health Ministry data revealed on Saturday (13 June).
According to the Health Ministry, of the total, 145,779 are active cases while at least 154,330 people have been cured of the disease.
At least 386 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total fatality count to 8,884.
Maharashtra, which has emerged as the worst Coronavirus-hit state in the country, has so far recorded 1,01,141 cases, including 3,717 fatalities, and 47,796 recoveries. Tamil Nadu followed with 40,698 cases. The Covid-19 tally in Delhi has crossed the 36,000-mark with as many as 36,824 cases recorded so far in the national capital. Gujarat has reported 22,527 cases so far.
States with most casualties after Maharashtra are Gujarat (1,415), Delhi (1,214), West Bengal (451) and Madhya Pradesh (440).
States with more than 9,000 cases are Uttar Pradesh (12,616), Rajasthan (12,068), Madhya Pradesh (10,443) and West Bengal (10,244).
Among other states/UTs where Corona cases have surged past 2,000-mark are Karnataka (6,516), Haryana (6,334), Bihar (6,103), Andhra Pradesh (5,680), Jammu and Kashmir (4,730), Telangana (4,484), Odisha (3,498), Assam (3,498), Punjab (2,986) and Kerala (2,322).
According to the Health Ministry, 7,984 cases are being re-assigned to states.
