People in Karnataka will no longer have to run back to or ring up the testing centres to know their Covid-19 results as the state has now made them available online.
"For the convenience of those who get tested for Covid, the facility to avail the results online has been launched. People can use their SRF ID and obtain their reports", Minister for Health and Family Affairs B Sriramulu tweeted.

This will facilitate faster treatment for those who test positive, as well as ease the troubles for those who need to access hospitals for non-Covid related ailments.
Most hospitals are demanding a Covid-19 test report before admission and many have refused treatment over its unavailability.
Those who undergo Covid tests are provided with a specimen referral form (SRF) ID. This ID can be now used to access the reports. One can visit this website and key in the SRF ID to obtain the reports.
Karnataka has been raising its testing numbers and as per Minister for Medical Education S Sudhakar the state conducted 59,088 tests in a single day on Tuesday (18 August). "So far we conducted 21,34,174 tests across 100 labs in the state out of which 15,82,449 tests are RT-PCR and other methods and 5,51,725 are rapid antigen tests," he tweeted.
The total number of people affected by the Coronavirus in the state stands at 2,40,948 as of yesterday when 7,665 new positive cases were reported and 8387 people were discharged.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
