The Gurugram Municipal Corporation has launched a free Covid-19 drive through testing centre for suspected coronavirus patients, ANI has reported.
As per Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Vinay Pratap Singh, anyone wishing to get tested for Covid-19 would first need to obtain a prescription from a registered doctor and fill an online application.
They will then be given a time slot and can drive themselves to the testing centre. The medical practitioners would then take their nasal or throat swab and the test result will then be uploaded online. The whole testing process would take just 1 to 2 minutes.
The city administration plans to open more such drive through facilities in the coming days.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
