In A First, BJP Wins Seats In Kashmir At The J&K DDC Elections

In a first for the BJP, it has managed to taste success in Kashmir by winning two J&K DDC seats in the valley so far.
As per reports, the party's candidate Aijaz Hussain has won from the Balhama seat seat in Srinagar and its second victory in Kashmir comes from Tulail, Gurez in Bandipora district, where Aijaz Ahmad has won.
According to BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain, the party is leading on several other seats in Kashmir.
As per results declared so far the BJP is also leading in 53 seats in Jammu.
The National Conference and PDP led Gupkar alliance on the other hand is leading on 81 seats and the Congress is leading on 20 seats.
