One of the most followed political figures worldwide, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi yesterday shocked the nation by taking to his social media handles to share that he was thinking of giving up his accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, reports Hindustan Times.
PM Modi is one of the most followed political leaders on Facebook and Instagram with 44 million individuals following his page and 35.2 million individuals following him on the photo sharing platform respectively.
Further, on YouTube, PM Modi's official account is subscribed by 4.5 million individuals. On Twitter too, PM Modi is followed by 53.3 million followers.

Without sharing any details about his move, PM Modi shared that he would keep his followers posted on the further developments in this regard. His update had left the followers requesting PM Modi to reconsider his stand.
