Three soldiers were killed on Saturday as militants opened fire at an army convoy in Pampore near the Srinagar-Jammu national highway. The attack was carried out in Kadlabal in Pampore town of Pulwama district.

According to IG (Operations) of the CRPF, security forces retaliated to the firing but couldn't fire openly due to the presence of the public. Militants managed to flee from the spot after the attack. Security forces have cordoned the area and a search operation has been launched.
