A Muslim woman in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh has filed a police complaint that she was facing harassment over her association with Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), reports ANI.
The woman named Farheen Mohin, a local BJP leader said, “I've received death threats asking me to stop my work, my husband was attacked due to the same." The husband was allegedly beaten up in Delhi Gate over wife's participation in party's membership drive in the area.
Mohin has filed a complaint that some people threatened her over her participation in BJP membership drive, and used violence. Case has been registered, required action is being taken, informed Abhishek, Additional Superintendent of Police, Aligarh (City).
