Tamil Nadu: Vijay To Begin Statewide Tour On 13 September, First Programme In Trichy

Actor Vijay, who leads Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), will launch an extensive election campaign across Tamil Nadu from 13 September to 20 December, 2025, reported Oneindia.

The tour will cover multiple districts, engaging voters directly in public gatherings.

Vijay will begin his campaign in Trichy, Perambalur, and Ariyalur on 13 September. He will continue to Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, and Mayiladuthurai on 20 September, and reach Thiruvallur and North Chennai on 27 September.

In early October, Vijay will address voters in Coimbatore, The Nilgiris, Tiruppur, and Erode. On 11 October, he will campaign in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, and Thoothukudi, followed by Kancheepuram, Vellore, and Ranipet on 18 October.

Vijay will engage South Chennai and Chengalpattu voters on 25 October. He will then visit Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, and Tirupattur on 1 November, and Tiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, and Villupuram on 8 November.

The campaign would continue with stops in Tenkasi and Virudhunagar on 15 November, Cuddalore on 22 November, and Sivaganga and Ramanathapuram on 29 November.

The final phase starts with Thanjavur and Pudukkottai on 6 December. Vijay will then visit Salem, Namakkal, and Karur on 13 December. The campaign will conclude on 20 December in Dindigul, Theni, and Madurai.

TVK general secretary N Anand has submitted a letter to the Tamil Nadu DGP requesting security arrangements and traffic management for all campaign events.

Through this months long statewide tour, Vijay aims to connect with voters personally in a bid to strengthen TVK’s presence ahead of the elections.
