An art depicting Lord Hanuman on the tail of the mockup of the newly unveiled jet trainer HLFT-42 at Aero India 2023 has now been removed.
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) unveiled the mockup of its new fighter jet trainer, the Hindustan Lead-In fighter Trainer (HLFT-42), on the first day (13 February) of Aero India 2023.
The mock-up had a picture of Lord Hanuman, depicting his rudra roop, with the caption, “The storm is coming..”.
The art depicting Lord Hanuman; who is often associated with strength and valour, was received well by the visitors and garnered much attention online after its pictures appeared on Twitter.
The next day, spectators were surprised to see that the picture of Lord Hanuman had been removed from the mockup.
The reasons behind the removal of the art a day later, remain unknown, as the HAL is yet to speak on the issue officially.

The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
