Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) on Monday (20 February) announced that it has secured new orders worth Rs 3,185 crore.
These recent orders have contributed to a significant growth for KPTL, with its order intake for the financial year 2022-23 standing at Rs 22,672 crore.
The orders consist of Rs 1,481 crore for the company's transmission and distribution business, Rs 1,509 crore for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects in the water business, and Rs 195 crores for a commercial building project.
"Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) & its international subsidiaries have secured new orders/notification of awards of Rs 3,185 Crores," the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the new order announcements, Manish Mohnot, managing director and CEO, KPTL said, “We are pleased with the new order inflows, especially in our water and T&D business. We are witnessing a significant uptick in the Water and T&D business, which we believe will be a major growth driver for us going forward".
"With the above order wins, our order intake for the financial year 2022‐23 stands at Rs 22,672 crores, a significant growth compared to the last year. Our robust and well‐diversified order book gives us the confidence to deliver on our growth targets going forward," Mohnot said.
