A Border Security Force (BSF) personnel died and six were hurt in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, as their vehicle slid off the road and fell into a gorge, according to a police official on Sunday (7 May).
The BSF vehicle crashed in the Balnoi area of Mendhar after its driver lost control while navigating a blind curve on a hilly road, as per the official.
In a swift rescue effort, the injured were moved to a nearby hospital. Sadly, one of the critically wounded BSF personnel passed away.
Four injured persons are in a critical condition, as confirmed by the official.
