Indian Army soldiers
Three Indian soldiers were killed by Pakistan in an unprovoked firing near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu & Kashmir's Machil sector. Pakistani soldiers reportedly crossed the Line of Control to kill the Indian soldiers.
The body of one of the soldiers was found tortured and mutilated. Reacting to the incident, the Indian Army has warned Pakistan of strong retribution.
There have been a whopping 286 incidents of firing and shelling along the LoC and the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistani troops that have resulted in the death of 26 people, including 14 security personnel, since the surgical strike on terrorist launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on 29 September.
This attack comes a couple of days after Pakistan Army chief General Raheel Sharif claimed that his unit is equally ready to indulge in conventional war. Beheading soldiers, it seems, is Pakistan’s way of fighting a conventional war.
According to Times Now, heavy firing is currently underway in the Machil sector of Jammu & Kashmir.
