Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today (29 December) announced that it will provide free WiFi to protesting farmers at Delhi's Singhu border.
"After reports of farmers facing network issues, Aam Aadmi Party to provide free wifi to all the protesting farmers at Singhu border. AAP is committed to help farmers in every way. Jai Kisan.", AAP tweeted.
As per reports, the AAP will install multiple WiFi hotspots at the protest venue to help the protesting farmers who have been complaining of proper internet connectivity.
AAP leader Raghav Chaddha has called it an initiative of the Arvind Kejriwal and the party.
Social media users had recently dug up an old tweet and manifesto of the AAP wherein the party ccould be seen promising sweeping farm reforms in the state of Punjab.
The party has now become a vocal critic of these reforms after they were ushered in by the Narendra Modi led central government.
