Adani Enterprises jhas acquired 34,375 square metres of land in Uttar Pradesh's Noida for setting up a data centre.

The company has procured the land at a cost of Rs 103.41 crore as it plans to set up a data centre there with a total investment plan of Rs 2,400 crore, reports Economic Times.

The upcoming data centre at Noida's Sector 62 will reportedly generate 1,350 employment opportunities, a senior Noida authority official was quoted by ET as saying.

The development comes as the Noida authority had received four applications for the land.

Adani group is planning to set up one of its largest data centres in Noida.

“This is one of the several locations across India that we see having significant potential for establishing data centres as we build out 400-500 MW of data centre capacity over the next five years,” an Adani group spokesperson said.

Besides Adani, the Noida Authority has also allotted another 16,350 sqm land in sector 145 to MAQ India to set up a IT facility.
