While attending the ongoing G7 summit in France as a special guest, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today made it clear that Kashmir is a bilateral issue, thus India does not bother any other country regarding it.

Following an interaction with Prime Minister Modi, US President Donald Trump confirmed talks over Kashmir and stated that India has things under control. The two world leaders were later recorded sharing a jovial moment which included Trump cracking a joke and Prime Minister Modi responding sportingly.

Trump later tweeted that he had a great meeting with his friend Prime Minister Modi.

This positive exchange between India and Pakistan though angered Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.

As quoted by ANI, Khan claimed that if the India-Pakistan conflict moved towards a war then it needs to be remembered that both countries have nuclear weapons. He thus asserted that the world’s superpowers have a “huge responsibility” to support Pakistan (over Kashmir) which is ready to go to any extent over this issue.

He though also took credit for what he called was internationalising the issue and claimed that his UN General Assembly address next month would focus on Kashmir.

A few days ago Khan had suffered a similar meltdown after Pakistan and China’s joint efforts to corner India over Kashmir in the United Nations failed.
