Ayodhya Ram Mandir Trust Calls Upon Rambhakts To Donate Copper Plates For Temple Construction

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the trust constituted to look out the managament and construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, on Thursday (20 August) appealed to the devotees of Lord Ram to donate copper plates for construction of the temple.
The Mandir trust has said that the copper plates will be used to fuse stone blocks of the temple with each other. It said that over 10,000 such plates could be required in the construction of the structure.
"For Mandir construction, copper plates will be used to fuse stone blocks with each other. The plates should be 18 inches long, 30 mm wide & 3 mm in depth.10,000 such plates may be required in total structure. We call upon Shri Rambhakts to donate such copper plates to the trust," the Trust said in a tweet on Thursday (20 August).
The trust further said that the donors can engrave their family names, place of origin or their temple's names on these plate.
"This way, the copper plates will not only symbolize the unity of this country but also be a testament to the entire country's contribution towards Mandir construction," the Trust said.
Earlier, the temple trust had urged the devotees to donate money for temple constribution.
It should be noted that the construction work for the temple started after Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram Mandir was performed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 5 August in Ayodhya.
