Flight operator GoAir will be starting non-stop services from Bengaluru to Phuket (Thailand) and Male (Maldives), Financial Express has reported. GoAir already flies to these destinations from New Delhi and Mumbai.
The airline had made its overseas debut last month. GoAir stated that Bengaluru-Phuket route will be operated thrice a week while Bengaluru-Male operations will be carried out two times per week.
“The addition of this new connectivity will bolster GoAir’s offering between India’s Silicon Valley with Phuket and Male,” Go Air said. Round trip fares for the Bengaluru-Male flight start at Rs 15,199. Bengaluru-Phuket two-way flights will cost Rs 16,999.
Phuket will be made the Thailand hub of the airline according to previous statements of GoAir managing director Jeh Wadia. Close to 10 domestic cities will be connected with Phuket by the end of the year by the airline.
