An estimated 3.2 crore persons covered under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 are expected to benefit from the newly launched Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana (ABVKY).

While six crore workers in the organised sector are expected to be benefiting from various social sector schemes, the Minister stated that almost one crore workers had been linked with ESIC benefits while another another one crore workers had been brought under the ambit of EPFO, all within a period of 2 years.
