Karnataka Chief Minister (CM) H D Kumaraswamy has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using military planes to poach his coalition government MLAs in a recent speech, News18 has reported . He also called the people to rise up violently against BJP if they topple his coalition government.
The Karnataka state BJP unit responded to the CM’s statement on Twitter saying that Kumaraswamy is the only politician in the history of the nation who asked his supporters to go on riots and called him a “disgrace” to the state.
BJP spokesperson Malavika Avianash questioned the CM as to how he can call for violence when he is responsible for law and order as the leader of the government.
JD(S) rules Karnataka in an alliance with the Congress with the partners holding a fragile majority in the assembly.
