BSF Patrolling Party Finds And Seizes Two Abandoned Pakistani Boats in Kutch, Gujarat

A patrolling party of the Border Security Force (BSF) has found two abandoned Pakistani fishing boats along the Harami Nala area along the Indo-Pak border in Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, reports India Today.
The two boats have been seized by the BSF and have been reported to have been run by single-engine mechanism. The boats were found at around 6:30 am on Saturday (24 August) and an intensive search operation has been launched in the area since. The search is still underway.
So far the security forces have not found or recovered anything suspicious or dangerous from the area. This incident is similar to one that happened in May this year when the BSF had found a Pakistani fishing boat in the same region. The BSF had seized the boat, though the fisherman had managed to escape.
The development gains significance as the intelligence agencies have alarmed the security forces and police administration across the nation of major terrorist attacks being planned against India. Coimbatore particularly is believed to have been even infiltrated by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists and has since been on high-alert.
