Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has removed the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit on the entry-level plans of Rs 777 and Rs 1,277, Telecom Talk reports.
The latest revision would please BSNL broadband customers as they would enjoy their data limit without any interruption.
In 2019-beginning, BSNL has revised all the FTTH broadband plans and started to offer daily data including to both entry level packs of Rs 777 and Rs 1,277. The Fibro Combo ULD 777 plan was changed into ‘18 GB plan’ and provided 18 GB data every day at 50 Mbps speed.
Now. The state-run telecom has converted the same plan to ‘500 GB plan’ as it offers 500 GB data without any daily limit. However, once the 500 GB is used, speed would reduce to 2 Mbps.
Similarly, the Rs 1277 plan was named ‘25 GB’ plan and offered 25 GB. The latest revision means users would get 750 GB in their billing cycle and a post FUP speed of 2 Mbps. The other plans- 40 GB plan, 50 GB plan, 80 GB plan, 120 GB plan and 170 GB plan remain unchanged.
