CBSE Students Checking Results (Sanchit Khanna/Hindustan Times)
Following a ‘notice’ circulating on social media claiming that re-exams will be held for CBSE Class XII Physics and Economics papers, the Board has issued a clarification that the rumour is fake, reports NDTV.
The CBSE, which is currently conducting annual examinations across India, also asked the public to not pay attention to such rumours and cooperate with it in ensuring that the ongoing exams are held in a smooth and fair manner.
"It is come to the notice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that a fake information regarding the re-conduct of examination of subject Physics and Economics of Class XII is being circulated on whatsapp. The date of this information is 28 March 2019 which has been signed by K K Choudhury, former Controller of Examinations. This is brought to the notice of Stakeholders that the news of re-conduct of Physics and Economics of Class XII is fake," the Board said.
The Class 12 examinations will conclude on 4 April.
