The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has given a relief to practising Chartered Accountants (CA) by extending the date to file the multi-purpose empanelment form to 25 September. The earlier last date to fill the form for the year 2019-20 was 20 September.
In an official notification issued on its website, the chartered accountancy body informed that this decision was taken by the Professional Development Committee in light of the requests made by various Chartered Accountants.
The notification also informed that in case of members from Jammu and Kashmir the last date to fill the empanelment form would be 30 September.
The multipurpose empanelment form needs to be filled by all those participating chartered accountants who wish to enlist themselves as auditors of nationalised banks and public sector undertakings.
It was recently reported that ICAI has also extended the last date for filling online forms for the November CA exams by five days.
