The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) of China has deployed Divine Eagle Jet Unmanned Aerial Vehicle’s (UAV) and H-6K bombers at its two airbases to fortify its offensive positions in areas close to India, Zee News reports.

The Divine Eagle UAVs are the world’s largest UAV, with a length of 15 meters and a wingspan of around 35 to 45 meters. If Chinese claims are to be believed, these UAVs can detect the latest stealth fighters like F-22 and F-35 of USA.

The PLAAF is operating Divine Eagle Jet UAVs from Malan airbase and H-6K bombers from the Hoping airbase. The PLAAF, while taking control of the Hoping Airfield under its Western Theater Command, is reported to have inducted 155mm calibre vehicle mounted Howitzer in the region.

An Indian security establishment officer said, “India wants a better relationship with China. Both countries have been engaged in efforts to overcome mutual differences to maintain peace in the region, but the way China is engaged in strengthening its defence preparedness from Tibet to Xinjiang is a matter of concern for us.”
