The Chinese People's Liberation Army has now started to mobilise its troops to the east of Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) leading to fears that it may open new fronts in Daulat Beg Oldie (DBO) and Depsang Sectors, India Today has reported.

While a Chinese camp is present to the east of DBO since 2016, new camps and vehicle tracks were spotted in the region at the start of the month.

Similarly, the Indian Army has anticipated that China may open a new front in Depsang - the sector which it used as an incursion point in 2013.

India in response had mobilised in Depsang in late May to counter China's movements. A similar deployment has been carried out by the army in Daulat Beg Oldie.

Another report adds that China is now continuing to build-up in the Galwan valley despite talks of disengagement.

As per satellite images, China appears to have continued its build-up post the violent 16 June face-off in Galwan which saw its camp destroyed. But come 22 June images show that it re-built its assets in the area.
