Following intelligence inputs about a possible threat to his life, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s office is all set to see a host of new security measures being implemented, reports IANS.
The office, situated on the fifth floor of the recently built Lok Bhawan in Lucknow, will now see bullet proof window panes being installed. Moreover, movement inside the building will also monitored using a Laser Intrusion Detection System (LIDS).
The security personnel assigned to protect the chief minister will undergo training in commando and anti-terror tactics to be able to be better able to protect him. The men deployed to the watch towers will be protected by special nets.
Adityanath will have a separate gate to enter and exit the building, while ministers and legislators will get another gate. Movement to reach and enter the fifth floor will also specifically be restricted and monitored.
